Improv 1, Week 4

Improv
Sting and the Police- Every Breath you take
Every breath you take, every move you make
Every bond you break, every step you take
I'll be watching you

Every single day, every word you say
Every game you play, every night you stay
I'll be watching you

O can't you see
You belong to me?
How my poor heart aches
With every step you take!

Her skin roasted

Apricot almond

Vibrating light photons

Enchanting pupils

Her glow rivaling

CBS camera’s framing

Media gods

Staring, I scrolled

Clocking every look

A moment thrust

On sinners, snake eyes

hot hands on dice

Rolling naives resisting

My likes, status update

Neva. In a relationship

Her face rotates

In my head, in my feed

Minutes between madison square garden

Halftime shows, stealing peaks

  1. This suffers from the "interiorization" that we talk about. All the fragmentary imagery never coalesces into a clear setting. Try elongating the lines, and force yourself now to turn this into mostly standard English grammar. Yes, we can break rules in poetry. We just don't want to rely on that for everything, though.
