Calisthenics 1, Week 4

Litany/anaphora

Thanks to the blinds scantily hiding my neighbors nude body, and resisting a reciprocal field of vision in this relationship

Thanks for the long van rides back to my provisionary home, pillow windows

Lull me to sleep roaring on the road

Thank you for mayor Bloomberg riding with the vagabonds

Thanks to the vagabonds providing vaudeville in the tunnels of sleepless cities

Rite Aid must be thanked for their 24 hour policy, cashback at 2 am solves the hunger crisis in my world

Thanks to the discovery channel for explaining the mating patters of a Nubian ibex, whose horns are bigger is a question everyone wants to know

All thanks in order to the sperm and egg that decided to meet up and make my cat ziggy

Thank you sky for setting the stage in the suns heated ensemble.

  1. Your litany is so entertaining. I wanted to keep reading just to see what would be thanked next. What I liked most was the random topics. None of them were based solely in one type of emotion or common feelings. This work also made me wonder what life would really be like without having those things (like blinds and cash back at 2 am). I would suggest not giving the exact reason for your thanks. Leave room for the reader to decide what your thanking that object, place, or person for.

  2. Damiyr, this is very well done. See if you can sustain this for a page or so. Then we can look to see what emerges from the individual entries (and also weed out any of the weaker items).
